The Nexon EV comes with a 30.2 kWh battery pack but the EV Max comes with a 40 kWh battery pack. Max’s electric motor will produce a maximum of 136 bhp (9 bhp more than before). It can be given a 6.8 kWh AC charger.
Although the Nexon EV is claimed to have a range of 312 km, in reality, it is about 200 km. Meanwhile, the upcoming Max certified range is 400 km. But in reality, it is expected to cover 300-320 km on full charge. Meanwhile, a video released by Tata claims that if the car is fully charged, it will be possible to travel from Mumbai to Pune. There will be no need to charge in the middle of the road. That means the new car will be able to run 300 km on a single charge.
The distance between Delhi-Kurukshetra, Bangalore-Mysore, Chennai-Puducherry, Gandhinagar-Vadodara and Ranchi-Dhanbad is about 150 km. The video shows how you can get back to where you left off without having to pay any charges on the road.
Notable features of the Tata Nexon EV Max include ventilated seats, air purifier, cruise control, a park mode, an electronic stability program and rear disc brakes. The car may be priced at Rs 14.54-18.15 lakh in the Indian market.
